The height theme continues!? Today we walked to the ?Basillica? and climbed the clock tower (if my damn photos would download you?d be able to see!) of a really grey and gothic looking cathedral thingy.? It was like something outta the krypton factor at times, I kid you not!? We walked over the ROOF on a rickety old wooden bridge as to be able to climb up one of the gothic towers.? Helen was feeling a little shaky about the height of it all and got on the bridge but stayed at the start leaving me to venture off again on my own.? Not feeling totally brave on my own I faked a mild panic of being the otherside on my own, hoping she?d be brave enough to join me!? I know, I know....but it worked and I got here far further up the damn thing than she?d originally planned....lol!?

?After checking outta our hostel, the secret garden - we got a taxi (note: am getting very good at this part of spanish) and head over to our hotel the Rio Amazonas.

OMG.....it had carpet, a proper bathroom and even bell boys!!!!!! I was in heaven....the first thing I did was wash my clothes (begining to stink) then I ran a bath, yes you heard me a bath!!!!!!! It was bliss and to be honest I?ve def got the travelling bug but as long as it involves five star hotels!!!!!!!!!!!!

We?re meeting the rest of our group in little over an hour so I?d better get on and reply to all my messages and emails.? Keep tuned the next bits about to get interesting!!!!!!!!!!
