Saw my doctor this morning. He said I'm fine to travel to Egypt "as is." Got written prescriptions for medicines to satisfy airline and a prescription for xanax to sleep on the plane. Three weeks from right now, I should be touring the pyramids at Giza. I am ready and so excited I could burst

I got a new passport this year. I intend to fill its pages with the stamps of many countries! I haven't been out of the USA in 30 years, but am changing that starting very soon, and will use this site to document my travels.
