I presume you arrived very tired. Trips east are bad, trips west are much easier. Try to see the Rosetta Stone, the Elgin Marbles and the Assyrian tombs in the British Museum. The fun museum is the Tate Modern on the other side of the river. The Millenium Bridge was closed when I was there last in 2000 because it swayed so badly. Worth a walk on the way to the Tate. The London Eye is a hoot, but at about $13 +/-, you may find cheaper opportunities. 1/2 price theater tickets are at a booth in the theater district. Remember, "Look Right" and "Mind the Gap".
Mom
So that is the Queen on the balcony and in the carriage. Did you see Prince Phillip? Is Princess Margaret in the other carriage? Who is she with? Are those horse apples on the ground? How excited were you to see the Queen’s Birthday Celebration? Did you see the fly-over of military aircraft? What about the lawn chairs? For parade viewers to rest after standing for hours waiting to see the Queen? Did you see Charles and Camilla, Andrew and Sarah, William and Harry?
