WOW what a weekend. I took the train/ferry from London to Whales then to Dublin with Diamond and his two friends. I am convinced that taking a ferry anywhere is the only way to go. It is nothing like the root canal that the airport has become. The ferry takes 3 hours but you can walk all over on basically a mini cruise ship, amazing.
The Irish immigration is sweet they don't put the heat lamps on you like the Brits do. The Irish wanted to know how long I was gonna be here and then, "ok, stamp, have a good time" This island is amazing. When we got here we just hung out at several of the five pubs within every block that Dublin has. Pubs, pubs, pubs Dublin has em they are fun and the red haired firecrackers that are around here wwweeeeeeuuu they put you to shame Judy, no offence, but I think these birds could swear you under the table.
The second day we went to all the dinking havens an irish lad(or some percentage or irish) could love, Guinness brewery tour and Jameson irish whiskey tour. OOOOO yeah they were fun. Guinness here doesn't even taste like beer it is the smoothest drink on the planet when you get it this fresh… amazing is the only thing I can say. At the top of Guinness they have an amazing 360 degree view of the entire city from like 10 stories up it is one of the highest points in the city just over some of the steeples of the churches. Jameson, was a much better tour for the sake of learning about the product then Guinness without the views. I volunteered to be a taste tester given my certified beer credentials and am now a certified Jameson/ whiskey expert… you know just trying to build my resume and add to the stack of papers I am collecting for when I get back.
Today, I screwed up and did not find a couch surfer in enough time and am in a hostel tonight (10 euros not the end of the world), but it looks like I will be heading to the countryside of Ireland either tomorrow or the next day to Cork and or Galway back surfing.
Keep the comments coming. I always see the ones posted to the blog entry and message board I am seeing I have some messages from others but I am not finding them. So, I am sorry if I have not responded to a question.
Its been "Wicked" and "Deadly"… that means cool in irish speak : )

Mom We celebrated Father's Day with dad/grandpa. BBQ'd 3 full slabs of baby back ribs, if you were there we would have needed 4! It was a nice day. Jeanne and GG were there too. I see you have a new green polo. I'm sure it will take you places your parrot t shirt will not. The pictures of the scenery are great but I would like to see you in more of them. So are you sending home a case of Jameson? Keep the blogs coming. I love you. Stay safe. Mom
