What can i say about Hong Kong, its such a past pased place but really behind with respect. When you try and buy things you get followed like a theif and put off and walk away.
But its a place to visit to take in some culture and shopping well lots of shopping.
Theres so many things we didnt get chance to do becuase of the fog. The tourist information place were fantastic and really helpful but a bit of a walk away.
The peak was too foggy to even see so we had to give it a miss, but we did walk along the avenue of stars and spot three we knew. Bet you cant guess who.......?
Kung Foo Films - Hint Hint. We took a few pics but were a bit miffed that the flog ruined them but did make a feel look better.
The light show was slow and as soon as the camera was ready it decided to stop and then start again. We also managed to see the clock tower, and even a small temple.
The best thing we did was take the skytrain (cable cart) for about 20 - 30mins over water hills and land to see the biggest sitting budda. WOW!!! To get to it you need to climb over 300 steps. We also wondered up to the monastery where if you look close enough you might see a monk wearing a rolex. There are apparently the richest monks in the world.
At the bottom is a circle surroudned by flags and if you stand in the centre and speak you can hear yourself, freeky hey.
We did some culture ate so veggie food and alot of mcdonalds but now its time to leave for out eight week Oz adventure. Ill say BYE for now until Sydney.
Sunshine and no more jeans and jumper. But that about the cyclone..........
I miss you all and love hearing from you all. Hugs and Kisses xxxxxxxxxxx
