Day 7

Had a really chilled out day and each bought a couple of new dresses. Ran into Sanit at our hotel who invited us out for dinner - so we went out with him and his cousin and his cousins wife and their baby - was absolutely lovely and we really do love Sanit. Ended up at a 'bar' which was a few chairs on the street!! Also said goodbye to Katie and Jemma who were heading over to Koh Samui for the full moon party, and met our new tour leader Jepp and some of the group.

Day 8

We went to see the Golden Mount today - not too sure what it actually is but had great views of Bangkok. Then went over to the reclining Buddha which was so much bigger than we could have imagined and was awesome! Went for lunch and had a rat walk under our table - nice! Then got the train to Khao Sok national park - definately worst train we've had so far - they were welding bits together until the point we left!

Day 9

Arrived at Khao Sok national park at midday, and then went tubing down the river. Which is basically sitting on a rubber ring and floating along the river with the current. Of course Kelly got stuck on a rock lol!! No pics of this thank god!! Then went to see lots of cute monkeys and then back to the hotel for numerous cocktails :)

Day 10

Had Beans on toast for brekky - may not sound exciting but really was for us! Then had a manicure and pedicure for 5.00!! Em then went for a walk and got bit by a leech (ironic) around the park and i pampered myself!

Day 11

Got the minivan to Krabi, arrived middayish and got straight on the beach - absolutely gorgeous! Went over to Railay beach today which was beautiful but very busy and touristy, got stuck on the way back as the tide had gone out and so we had to trek it back through the sea and down the beach. Went out in Ao Nang in the evening which is just like Spain - runined by tourism and didn't have a great meal!! V expensive compared to the rest of Thailand.

Day 12

Awesome day - got a van at about 8.30am to our boat and then sailed around loads of gorgeous islands, including Maya (where the film 'the beach' was filmed and our favourite) it was gorgeous but v busy. And then Bamboo Island where we just relaxed. Also Monkey Island where you guessed it there are lots of monkeys! We sailed there which we loved, and Emilia snorkelled - apparently lots of good fishes!! I sunbathed...!

Day 13

Today!

Emilia: I went kayaking today, lots of hard work and a monkey jumped on my kayak. Also saw a lizard/crocodile type creature.

Kelly: I had the beach all to myself this morning so pretended it was my beach... ! Pretty much just sunbathed, read my book and listened to my ipod - v chillaxed!

Tonight we're going out in Ao Nang, then tomorrow we're off to Malaysia - v sad to be leaving Thailand and will both definately be back here in the future!
