Today we had a relaxing start to the day with coffee and cake at the local bakery. Exmouth is a beautiful little town with a very laid back lifestyle, and the weather/temperature here at the moment is perfect. We have been told that the temperature does hit 50 degrees in January, wow thats hot! Stopped at the Nanutarra Roadhouse for fuel. Fuel was a $1.93, not the most that we have paid for fuel on this trip but it was very expensive to buy food and drinks. The humble Chicko Roll $6.20!! Not a very nice roadhouse at all, mainly catering for the miners. Disappointing stop!

Today we arrived in Exmouth. We are staying in a Big4 Caravan Park only costing $96 for 4 nights! The temperature here is beautiful and the people seem very friendly. Tomorrow we will have a look around, there is heaps to do here and the Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Reef is not far away so we are looking forward to exploring!

We arrived at Onslow on the Western Australia coast expecting to find a beautiful coastal town, but unfortunately we were faced with a town catering for the mines and its miners but polar opposite to Tom Price! We were very disappointed! The caravan park was full of old caravans housing miners and at $45 per night it was an absolute rip-off!! This morning we left Cape Keraudren and travelled through Port Hedland to the Karijini National Park. The landscape changed quite dramatically when we got close to Karijini National Park outskirts. The land became mountainous instead of the flat desolate desert like landscape we had become used to, with beautiful hills carved out by ancient waters, quite amazing!
