Both Sunday and Monday have been pretty relaxed - Sunday we went for lunch at the local bar (cold beer, chips and sausages - why not!) followed by a walk to 'the cliff' to see the sunset and (hopefully) some more elephants. The walk took around 1-2 hours in the heat and humidity it was tough, but the views were worth it. Great mountainous, lush areas stretching for mile after mile with wild elephants situated in them!
Yesterday we rode the matatu's (cramped mini buses that have 21 people squashed into 14 seats) to fourth thieves beach again. The journey is about 35km and we arrived just before lunch. The day was pretty much spent sunbathing, kayaking, lounging about in the sea and eating - gotta hate those Monday mornings! We came back to Kwale, had another cold beer to cool down over a couple of games of pool and watched some football.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) we're going to look around Mombasa and see some animals. Wednesday we fly back to Dubai for just under a week before hitting Thailand and the rest of South East Asia!
