Hey everyone how tricks? im good still having a fab time and im now in adelaide. Oh and by the way im not naked in the photo!!! im wearing a top with no straps!!!

We got collected by the bus at 6.45am on the 2/03/08 and we set off across the south coast and the nullabor! first we stopped of in york at the rabbit proof fence! which as you may have guessed never worked! it was 4000 km and travelled from perth to broome its over 200 years old! ad theres not much of it left! we then drove on the wave rock and the hippo's yawn! which were pretty cool! we then carried on to Raventhorpe to get supplies for the evening i.e ALCOHOL!!! not that i didn't have enough the night before!!! and had been sleeping off on the bus since se set off!!!! we then got to the camp site, set up the tents and while emily our guide was sorting dinner Joe, Katie and me went for a walk on the beach. Joe set of before us so by the time we made it down he was climbing all over the rocks! there was also two other girls nat and sharon. nat was from japan and sharon from thaiwan. there were both really nice girls although cause me, Joe and Katie we all english we spent most of our time together! Katie and i decided we'd go and see what Joe was up to and found him grab hunting! Katie and i found some too. we only took pic's and didn't have any for dinner!!!! after dinner it was getting dark so we went to bed. i shared with Katie and Joe had the swag!

The next morning we got up at 6.30am packed up and set of for Esparance, where we went for a wlak along the jetty and saw Sammy the sea lion swimming around down below. We then drove on to Cape le grand national park next to Lucky bay and we set up tents for the nigh, although it was my turn to sleep in the sway that night!! we were goined by 2 kanagroos!! we then set off for a 3 hour walk from Rossiter beach the Lucky bay! the walk was good but the bush was thick in places, but the views from the top was amazing! we also saw a massive lizard which i nearly stept on! i was glad to get back to camp for some dinner tho! we had dinner a few drinks then it was off to bed!! it was my turn for the swag Katie zipped me in and i went to sleep, well for a bit anyway!! as it stared to rain!! for those who don't know a swag is like a big sleeping bag that you sleep in the open air in!! its ment to be water proof but as Joe found from the night before it wasn't totally!!! so i wasn't planning on getting wet! so i moved my swag into the kitchen area undercover to keep dry. after that i had a great nights sleep!!

on 4/03/08 we got up at 6.30am again and had pancakes for breakfast which were great. we then headed off to frenchmans peak it took about 45mins to climb. Joe flow up it in about 15!! and sat waiting for everyone to catch up! it was so steep! it was 262m high so the views were amazing! after getting down we went to a beach for a swim it was really nice and the beach was beautiful. we then headed to our next camp site, which was a bush camp site. so there were no facilitys, no running water, no toilets! we just got a shovel!! we all had a go at yabby fishing but only nat caught one! she put it back it was only small! we had dinner then went to bed. we all slept out under the stars and it was just magical! the night was so clear and the stars so bright.

on 5/03/08 our first stop was norsman, population 300!!! then on to balladonia where a satelight crashed in 1979! then we hit the longest straight road 156.6k after we stopped at 1974 time worp!!!! called canara the decor in the bar was so out of date and the owners were so miserable! we then set off to cross the true nullarbor. nothing for as far as the i can see! we stopped on the way to look at a cave in the ground but the carried on to Euca where we setup camp for the night. the population here was 43!!! we went for a swim then had dinner which was the niceset curry ever! it was Katies turn the in swag so i shared with joe. it was a really hot night but i managed to sleep.

the next day 6/03/08 we got up at 7am we drove to a telegraph station that had nearly been totally covered by sand, it was pretty cool. we then set off on the road again to cross the boarded to south australia, we got off the bus just before a walked over the boarder took a few pics then set off again to the oz bite. the cliffs were amazing and as the pic shows thats why its called the bite!! we set off across the nullabor plain where are no trees for 700k we had a quick stop at the famous wombat sign then off to the dingo fence and a very large cattle grid, which we then proceded to lay under the grid to wait for a road train to arrive!! and it didn't take long! when it ran over us it was so loud and pretty scary!! the dingo fence again like the rabbir proof fence didnt really work but it was the longest fence in the world!! it ran from esparance to brisbane! after our near death experience we arrive in fowlers bay to another near death experience!!! we took a swim to the end off the jetty and back. Joe and emily set off first jumping in off the jetty and swimming to the end and getting out. where as Katie and me didnt want to jump as it looked a little to shallow for our liking! so we went back to the beach and swam from there. all was ok untill Katie wouldn't get out as the stepps were falling apart and very slimmy! so we swam back to shore. now i know your asking urselves whats so near death about that well im getting there! but you have to wait a little till i fill you in! after the swim we headed back to the haunted disused school house we were staying in over night to get ready for sand boarding!! we went up to the top of the sand dunes with a sand board and threw ourselves over the edge and down the steepest dune over!! it was really scary! my first attempt didn't go as planned and at the bottom a came off the board ladding and rolling in all the sand! it went everywhere! my second attempt was better but Joe was the winner as he definatly went the furthest out of all of as, but also managed to crash into a bush aswell!! scratching his arm pretty bad! he now has a loverly scar to add to the collection!! after the sand boarding we set up the mats as we descided to sleep without the tents. it was sharons turn for the swag and nat slapt in the tent but me Joe and Katie slept under the porch in our sleeping bags. we had quite a bit to drink that night and decided to take a walk before dinner so we walked along the jetty and had a chat with a few of the fishermen fishing along the jetty and they told us that there we sharks in the these waters and that swimming to the end of the jetty was not a good plan!! (there's the near death experience i was talking about!! doh) after the walk we went back for dinner and then as the place was haunted Joe and i decided to check out the rest of the house as all of it except the two bathrooms was out of bounds. it was pitch black by this stage so me and Joe got our touches and and headed off round the house. we got looked throw the windows and in every room there was a pocerlin doll! it was pretty freaky! but so funny aswell we headed to bed about 12am but couldnt sleep as we couldnt stop laughing we all had the giggles and couldnt stop! emily kept telling us off as she was trying to sleep but that just made us laph harder

the next day 7/03/08 we got up early to see the sun rise on the jetty it was so amazing, so beautiful then after breakfast we drove to leduna art centre for a quick look arround then off to bairds bay wheree we got on a boat that took us out to swim with sealions. it was so amazing they were so cute and they loved to copy you if dived down with them then poped up they'd do the same it was am unbelievable experience we swam with them for over an hour and it was magical. then we set off to find the dolphins!! we saw 5 dophins and the swam right past us they were so close!! and you could hear them talking to each other it was so clear the sounds in the water, it was just mad and amzing at the same time i couldn't believe i was there doing it swimming with dolphins in the wild and in there natural habitat, it was great a once in a life time thing! after that we popped to vinus bay Joe and emily had a swim but katie and i just sat on the beach taking in the rays! we then headed to the owner of the tours farm for dinner and to stay overnight. we got to stay in dorm rooms which was a nice
change! after dinner we went on a night tour around the farm to see kangaroos and wombats. we only managed to catch a quick glimps of womburt the wombat before he dived back into his hole, but it was pretty cool.

the next day 8/03/08 after pancakes for breakfast we left for our surf lesson!! it was really cool our instructer was called kingo and he was really good. the lesson was about 2 hours all together and it was really hard i only managed to get up onto both feet once and i fell straight off!! Katie saw me tho so i have a witness!!! the only problem was that my wetsuit had short legs and as i was trying to get to my feet i kept dragging my knees on the board so i managed to take the skin off my knees!!! you would not believe how painfull it was i could hardly walk comming out of the sea! and it was soar for about a week after! after the lesson we went on a cliff drive around ellisten it was pretty cool and it had art work dotted around the top of the cliffs which was interesting. we then went to loch beach and climbed down and then up again 214 steps it nearlly killed me!! it was just so hot aswell which didnt help! the beach was nice but you couldnt swim as the rips we too strong. we then set off to cowell where we were stsying in a pub over night i tryed oysters for starter as everyone was having then abd they were gross!! ill never have them again, i gagged and nearly threw up!! the roast dinner was good tho. we then had quite a few drinks in the bar and stayed up quite late me and Joe were sharing a room but Katie joined us to so not to wake her roomy!! as we were being quite loud!! there was a double and single in the room. Katie and i shared and Joe got the single! we didnt meet any ghosts tho as our room was ment to be haunted!!

the next morning 9/03/08 we got up early as this was our last day on the road! we were up by 6.30am with a bit of a hangover!! we drove to augusat where we had a camel ride it was pretty cool but mine and Katies camel kept taking us through the trees and i got a bit scratched!! we then set off for adelaide we stopped for lunch at the second largest jetty in australia and we took a walk along it. although we didnt get to the end as we had to get back to leave. we arrived in adelaide at about 6pm we checked into our hostel and then went out for food, Katie, Joe and i had thai for dinner it was great. then we headed back to the hostle for bed!

Well thank god for that my trip across the nullabor is complete!!! of course i loved the trip it was just writting it up that was boring!!! i had such a great time and have made another life long friend in Katie who only lives 1hr from me at home, which is great. anyway ill fill you in soon on my next bit of adventure! or maybe not as next i plan to work again but this time apple picking!
