你好,
We've decided this holiday should be more of a lazy and relaxing holiday, we're just going to go with the flow and do what we feel like doing at the time, because we need a break from our routines.
So today we let ourselves lie in and then decided to go to the IMAX cinema to see Interstellar. This was really good, quite confusing (but if you're a geek like me then no problemo :P) but still really good. We headed to KFC for lunch and then wandered back to the hostel, exploring some of Nanchang's streets and shops.
Back at the hostel I did some research into the water fountain show that Lucie and I had read about the last time we were in Nanchang, but were unable to find an address for. But success! I managed to find an address and show times. We jumped into a taxi and headed towards the Nanchang Autumn Water Square (秋水广场 (qiushui guangchang) for any others vols wanting to go). The show was actually quite spectacular. With hundreds of shots of water being fired into the air in time to music with coloured lights and the Nanchang skyline as a backdrop, I was impressed by the 30 minute long 'biggest water show in Asia.'
After this we walked along the river for 40 minutes to the Star of Nanchang (a giant ferris wheel, also said to be the biggest in Asia - 南昌之星 nanchang zhi xing). It was all lit up and was quite magnificent to look at from afar and up close. (Photos will be following shortly, I promise).
Now quite tired (it was after 10pm at this point) we took a taxi back to the hostel and crashed.
Until tomorrow,
再见 x
