Well, i left you last before Louise and I heading down the Great Ocean Road for the weekend and you will be glad to hear it that us, and more importantly the other road users, survived! Great Ocean Road is amazing and i rcommend it for anyone that is in the Melbourne direction. Crammed so much into a few days and have plenty of stories to tell from it! Unfortunately too little time at the moment as I am on my lunch break at the mo and abusing office equipment as it without going into details of the happennings of my trip! Have now been in Sydney for around 5 weeks and what can I say about Sydney, it is so amazing! I really love it here and little old Largs doesn't even hold a torch to it! How can you beat passing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge every morning on your way to work?! You can't! Christmas was definately different although it was raining in the morning! The illusion of Australia being this one constantly hot and sunny place is definately just an illusion! Louise and I cooked xmas dinner for 5 complete with all the turkey and trimmings, quite suprising considering we started the morning with a champagne breakfast! Had a great time though although out attempt to go to Bondi at midnight failed as by the time we got there, everyone had went home and all the pubs were closed, the Aussies just don't seem able to handle it! Hogmany was another amazing night, down at Sydney Harbour with the best view point of the 'Coathanger' (harbour Bridge) and Opera House. We were there from 11.30 am and met up with an older couple we had met in Asia, poor old dad seemed to have had one too many by the end of the night! We proudly wore our See you Jimmy Hats (Thanks mum!) and flew the flag for Scotland although unfortunately that was all that represented Scotland that night as the Aussies, once again dwent off to bed at midnight and the partying ended! Although, I guess just seeing the fireworks and being at the Harbour on Hogmany is something special and was amazing! Have met some weird and wonderful people during my travels and it makes it very intersting. Apparently iI'm not that crazy afterall! Went to a Brazillain festival on Saturday night, which was really good and spent the night with people from Brazil, Chillie, germany, Sweeden and OZ so that was pretty cool, and I have to say the Brazillian men are not too bad in the looks department at all! Have also visted the local ice bar, where it is a mere -13 degrees inside! It's very cool (haha!!), everything is made out of ice, including the glasses you drink out of and you are only allowed to stay in it for 30 minutes for health and safety reasons! It's brill although minor prob of not being able to feel any limbs after it! Well, I shall go and get back to work but I'll update photos soon (think I'm pushing it if do it in work!). Manage to keep adding to the list of places that I wan to visit and things I want to do, time and money are going to be a slight problem!xxxx, oh yeh, Happy New Year!!
