Finally getting round to add another update and put some more pictures on my journal, getting fed up of reading the same stuff and looking at the same old pictures!! Well, Im sure as you all know that we didn;t find a flat and have just been slumming it in a hostel for the past 5 weeks (I straightened and dried my hair for the first time last week!..it pays to have room mates that come prepared!!) Were about to move into a flat until we found out that the landlord was infact a weirdo/pervert so needless to say, despite wanting an adventure packed year abroad, we turned the flat down! I've been working on and off in the Government offices for the past few weeks, not doing anything exciting, just filing but everyone is really nice and plenty of tea breaks and free biscuits are allowed!! Have been to Phillip Island where you watch the penguins parade at night when they come out of the sea and back home. They are the smallest penguins and very cute although I can't describe how cold it was, I was actually sitting on the beach with my feet inside my handbag and Louises jumper tied around my face to try and keep warm! It was not a pretty sight!! On wednesday I went to...Ramsay Street! No trip to Melbourne is complete without it and it was really good! Ramsay street is tiny and people actually live there all the time and...I got to meet Max..I know, I know Ned would have been better but beggars can't be choosers!! Have now met a few people that have been out drinking and dining with, some things will never change! I do think I damaged the Scottish reputation on a hostel pub crawl last week but lets face it, it was going to happen eventually!! Heading down the Great Ocean Road for a few days this weekend..we have hired a car so look out Melbourne especially since you have to go in the left lane to turn right..very confusing for two blondes! Moving onto Sydney in a week which should be really good. Melbourne is a great city to live in but it is time to move on and see somewhere new, we are becoming too settled here! Hope everyone has a brilliant Christmas (I know Christmas at the Clark household isn't going to be the same this year!Ha!)
