Tom and I travelled back to Siem Reap to meet up with his friend Dan. GOt back for midday and checked in fianlly after a mix up. This was the day i met Dan that Tom had been travelling with in India. So we left Ciaran behing who was off to Bangkok and we got our bus to Battambang. Took around 4 hours but eventually arrived about Midday. Straight away i could see that the city is much less popular, the streets are filled with rubbish and not as built up as other places. But still has a great vibe here, people are still friendly. We went on a bamboo train, which is basically one track that runs to another villiage and the wheels sit on a plank of bamboo. .....

We got our bus over to Siem Reap and Bat-Chen was also on our bus, another traveller we had met. So that meant when we got our rooms we could have two twin rooms and i was sharing with a girl, which makes a change, been ages. So beginning of week 16 we headed back to Otres beach after Koh rong , stayed another 4 days , partied hard. Near the end of the week we tried to get to Siem Reap however due to the chinese new year everything was booked, so we headed by bus to Phnom Penh for a day. Only took about 4 hours to get to the City. Ended up seeing a few people that we had met on Koh Rong island. We organised a bus ticket to Siem Reap for the next day and just went out to happy pizza...
