Got a bus to Luang Prabang which took around 7 hours in a minivan. Had a guy from New zealand puking all the way there as he had been out on the piss the night before, so that was great fun.... Took the sleeper bus to Vientiane, which was a 10 hour journey. However i hated the sleeper bus, you had to share a single bed with another person, good job Tom and I were still travelling together. with hardly any sleep, got to Vientiene. Got to Pakse which was on a 3 hour bus journey, was quite quick. Also helped that we had a minibus and it wasnt crammed. We only stayed the night in Pakse, there are lots of waterfals to see, however it was pricey and seemed more of a tourist trap, so decided to leave to Vientiene the next evening. Here it felt quite french, alot of coffee shops and good food. Apart from the waterfalls, i didnt feel there was much to do here.
