I made my way to Koh Pha Ngan on the day of the Full moon party. As soon as i arrived i was greeted by some of the travellers staying at the hostel. The moonstone hostel was cool, had 20 beds in the dorm, and only one room, the whole decor was in pink and playboy. Even the towels and bedding were all pink as the chairs and tables. Arrived in Chumporn at 4 am and took a bus over to the pier, ended up sitting on the stairs as there was not enough space. Took about half an hour to get to the pier. Then had to wait for the ferry which was a catarmaran. Got to Koh Nang Yuan first and still looked like it did 6 years ago. So spent the day travelling back to bangkok, took teh minivan to Khao san Road.Then had to find a taxi or tuk tuk that wasnt charging over the odds to take me to the tran station. Eventually found a tuk tuk and negioate 80 bahts to the train station. I had no idea if i was going to able to buy a ticket so was hoping there was space on the sleeper train for that evening. Decided to get out of Bangkok and head to the East coast of Thailand, to Koh Chang. Spent a day travelling to get there and took a ferry across to teh island. The island itself is really hilly. Spent 5 days in Bangkok. ALot has changed since the last time i came here was was 6 years ago.
