So spent the day travelling back to bangkok, took teh minivan to Khao san Road.
Then had to find a taxi or tuk tuk that wasnt charging over the odds to take me to the tran station.

Eventually found a tuk tuk and negioate 80 bahts to the train station.

I had no idea if i was going to able to buy a ticket so was hoping there was space on the sleeper train for that evening.

I was lucky i brought a ticket for the train, bus and ferry to KOh Tao all for £25, not too bad.

Ended up waiting at the train station for 3.5 hours.

At oen point the Thai national athem started playing and everyone stood up, i had read about this and stood up too.

Have never seen so many people stand up and concentrate so hard.

Then at another point there was a group of thai people just singing and dancing, very strange, i just kept reading my book.

Thought the cameras were going to come out, something on the lines of the T mobile adverts, but i was wrong.
Just thai people dancing around.

Also looking around at the train station, it occured to me that it wasnt the prettiest station, and started thinking of the best train station i have seen, and though it has to be Liverpool Street Station.

Well i got on my train with a KFC takeaway and settled into my seat.

Meet some other travellers and then decided to get some sleep as would be up at 4am at the ferry port, so long day.
