Arrived in Vang Vieng, took about 4 hours and the roads werent too bad, quite winding roads but with beautiful views along the mountain side.

Ended up only staying two nights.

One day was chilled and the other was just tubing down the river, stopping at a few bars and jumping from zip lines and swings, which was great fun.

Vang Vieng is one place that surprised me, it is in the most beautiful and stunning location, with mountains, caves, lagoons which no one tells you about. However its a shame that you still get the pissed and drugged up people there two, which is quite an embarrashment to see.

I will definatley come back here, its a really lovely place.

Most people on Laos are lovely apart from a stupid lady that ended up threatening me with a meat cleaver as i wanted a refund on a bag she sold me, but the bag was meant to be waterproof which it wasnt. Lovely woman....oh well i just walked away no point...karma
