Left late in the evening to catch the night bus to Sao Paulo. The taxi driver seemed like he was on a killing spree, kept breaking really late and running red lights and nearly crashing two times, when we had to ask him to slow down…mental!
Made it to the bus station with all limbs attached and waited for the bus.
The bus seemed okay but just couldn't seem to sleep for ages.
Then three hours into the journey we went round a corner and all of a sudden was a loud bang, and one of the windows just shattered into pieces and all came inwards. Injuring a few passenger but not too serious. Good job it was during the night as there may have been a few eye injuries if it was during the day.
Ended up changing buses and a little confusion on which bus we needed to be on when we got to a rest stop, but were on the correct bus and was on route to Sao Paulo.
Got into Sao Paulo the next morning after a 10 hour journey.
The scenery on route was beautiful and the weather was lovely the sun was out and looked like it was going to be a nice day.
Spent about 3 nights in Sao Paulo which I really enjoyed the weather was good, the hostel we stayed in was really nice, the people are really friendly even if they don't understand you they will try hard to communicate.
Spent the days walking around seeing the city and some shopping, well didn't really buy much as everything is quite expensive.
Good thing about Brazil is that they do kilo restaurants, basically you take a plate fill it up and just pay for what you have on your plate, or you pay per plate. Cheap way of eating when in Brazil.
