Day 2
We left Wellington this morning and travelled to Hahndorf which is in the Aedlaide Hills to get fruit and have a look down the street, we bought some meats (metwurst and pepperoni sticks) which was really nice. After lunch we packed up and travelled on to Crystal Brook.
Day 3
We packed up this morning and went into town to learn a bit about Crystal Brook "as Edward John Eyre was passing through this region in May 1839, the sparkling clear water of the stream inspired him to name the town Crystal Brook".
From here we then travelled to Port Augusta where we had a swim in the pool (it was freezing and I jumped in ten times!).
Day 4
From Port Augusta (which was the original starting point of the Ghan Train line), he town was named after the governors wife in 1858?
We travelers to Woomera which is famous for testing rockets for the defense force, it has a population of around 100. We had a walk through the park looking at old rockets and an old plane.
In the car again and drove to our destination of Glendambo, population 30 people, 22,500 sheep and 2,000,000 flies!
