The Second island we stopped off at was WayaLaiLai which was significantly bigger and hillier than South Sea. WayaLaiLai was definintely more typical of the type of accomodation, dining hall and amount of people that are on most of the islands. the beach was quite narrow but much sandier than South Sea which was good. The activity we decided to do whilst there was an island swim which involved us being dropped off at an island opposite WayaLaiLai and snorkling back from it. That was pretty cool as it went from coral to absolutely nothing but the dark blue ocean below and kind of a new perspective of actually how deep the ocean could be!! We alsoweaved our own braclets there. Mine was pretty rubbish as it was way to bigand mypattern wasn't very good, Abi's on the other hand was really good! The food there was ok, nothing spectacular but definitely edible. On the second night we decided to have a few drinks along with Guy. (Guy is someone that we met on south sea doing the exact same tour as us on exactly the same dates so we decided to pretty much adopt him!) We also met a group of 3 lads from nottingham - Tom, Ed and James - who were really funny and who we ended up spending a couple of nights with on different islands which was really nice! Again all the staff were lovely on WayaLaiLai and on the second evening they performed the traditional Bula dances and Fire dances which were really awesome to watch. They then taught us the Bula dance along with some other dances which was pretty funny and nice to have some traditional entertainment. Over all the island was lots of fun!!
