Hi All

Just a very quick first blog entry to keep you all updated on my whereabouts. Today is our 4th day in KL, and we are off to Singapore tomorrow (by a 6 hour bus!). Have been doing a lot here in KL, we have seen the Petronas Towers (tallest buildings in the world) by day and by night (they are so beautiful lit up), the KL tower, obviously we have had a wander through the shops, but amazingly I havent bought any new clothes yet! We met up with Jane, a really friendly Aussie girl who took us all under her wings, and as she had been in KL for a few days, she took us to some amazing places to eat (the food is delicous!) and also suggested a day trip to Melaka, which is 2 hours south of KL. The city was fantastic, a really mix of European (British, Dutch and Portugese) and Chinese influences which were reflected in the architecture, and brilliant shops full of nick nacks. We stopped of at this fantastic Chinese restaurant, it was so beautiful, it had a central courtyard with the most amazing wall of water, and to top it all of the food was delicious too!
