Hi!
First few days have been ace! First day we got up, left the hotel to look for the main tourist area and got lost. A local told us where to go and then ran down the street to tell us again where to go when we had to get the map out. We found the road we wanted, ate, then went off to see the Grand Palace. We got lost again but luckily it was outside the Government building and someone who worked there told us where to go and suggested we went on a boat ride. He flagged us down a tuk tuk and we went to the river where we got a private longtail boat ride for an hour, saw loads of sights and got dropped off at the temples and palace. The Palace was good and we had a private tour. At this point I accepted defeat and passed the map to Toyah and since then we have'nt got lost. Second day was a bit of a write off because we were too hungover after an ace night out so just went for food and booked trip to next place. We're heading up North to Chiang Mai and got a 3 day trek booked then heading down to beaches. Just waiting in the hotel now for a bus to pick us up. Bye bye. Write soonxxxxx
