Today was a great day. We honestly weren't actively doing much today. It involved a lot of sitting on our balcony and looking at the scenery, which suited us just fine. Tonight was the formal night on the ship. We had a nice dinner at one of the restaurants here on the ship. We were sat with 3 other couples, one from Topeka, Kansas, another from Raleigh, North Carolina and another from a small mountain town in Northern Arizona. Last night was a very relaxing sleep. We slept with the sliding glass door to our balcony open, sleeping to the sounds of the ocean waves. We feel almost no movement-the only time you really notice any movement is when you're on the very top of the ship you can feel a vibration and then when we turn. It is 12:50 am and I am just about to go to sleep. We sat out on our balcony as we set sail at about 9:40 this evening. Afterwards Chris and I headed to the Casino. Really there isn't much of great interest to talk about today since today was somewhat a travel day for us. Right now as I type this I am on our private balcony on our cruise ship which is ported in Whittier, Alaska. I am looking and some of the biggest, avalanche/snow-covered mountains I have ever seen on one side and the inlet of the ocean on the other side of the ship.
