Mom Lippelt So you guys will be home tomorrow. I'm sure my little kitty (I mean your little kitty) will be so glad to see you two. I don't have any idea what airline you are coming in on. You only gave me the time of your arrival. I will wait to hear from you but will plan on being at the airport about 3:00PM at the cell phone parking lot. I will check this board tomorrow so you can post the airline name then. If you give me your flight number I can then check the flight to see if you are running on schedule or not. I know that you aren't in the US so there is no need to call me, I will just check this message board tomorrow. Can't wait to see you two. I made Chicken Enchiladas for dinner tomorrow night - something you have fast and then head right home. I'm sure you guys are ready to get back into your nest. Love, Mom

Judy Ciufia I am really enjoying reading about your trip and looking at the pictures! When I read about the guys from 110th and Cicero-that cracked me up! That is right where I did all my hanging around until about 1988 or so. What a small world!

Mom Lippelt So good to hear from you today Chris. You can tell I am middle aged because it still amazes me that you can call me from Alaska! As I told you on the phone Nermal has settled right in and has made my office chair her official bed. She is still checking the calendar every day (she has begun crossing the days off with a pen - I think she really misses you two now) She sit by the windows and does pretty pitiful meowing - she can really really sound so sad and tiny when she wants to - trying to wear me down so I'll take her out. She has realized (just like Chris and Doug did) that this grandma cannot be worn down. She will have to wait for her parents to return and then Katie I'm sure you'll spend most of the summer outside with her. Thanks for pictures of your stateroom. It gives me a sense of how your room is set up. I'm so glad to hear that your having such a wonderful time. Love, Mom

Mom Lippelt I agree with Mom J. we should have come with you kids! What fun would that have been :) Dad and I are enjoying your pictures as well and I'm glad to see that Katie is able to golf while on board (these new fangled virtual computer programs - what will they think of next). I am requesting pictures of your stateroom and your balcony. This is as close to a cruise as I will ever come and I am curious as to how much space you have. Glad to see that sleeping in the pop up has conditioned you two to firm beds. I am glad to hear that there is not a lot of movement on the ship. I was really worried that you or Chris might be sea sick. Is the ship luxurious? What is the decor? Are they mainly adults or are there children on board as well? Did anyone bring thier cats or dogs? (Just kidding I know how much you two are missing your little one) She is dying to get out Katie so I know that she will be relieved when her mom and dad return so she can chase birds and bugs etc. Do you get breakfast in room everyday or was that special. Janet Johnson We are really enjoying reading about your trip and seeing the pictures so far. This is a trip the two of you will always remember..even the flooded bathroom, but that worked out for the best. Can't wait to see pictures from the ship..I almost feel like I'm there with you...hey, maybe I should of come with..ha!

Nermal spent the morning following me around while I was outside. She did that by sitting in open windows and letting me know that she wanted to be outside with me. (No I won't bring her out - if she got away it would be awful so I'd rather not chance it). She was busy hiding while I vacuumed this morning so this afternoon she is busy resting while I am online. Trying to figure out what I will do next is keeping her busy day and night. She sure is a talker. If only I knew what she was saying. Mom (Lippelt) Hi kids! As I write your little Kitty is meowing. She truly missed us this weekend. She is sitting on the arm of my chair as I type this and purring away. Boy is she a talker!! (She will probably have plenty to say to you to when you return like hey where were you two!) She is doing just fine on her vacation here in St. Charles. sue & Terry The pics are beautiful - we road the seward highway and the pics brought back a lot of memories. we also took the time to go to denali - if the weather is good it is well worth it - if it's cloudy skip it. i love reading your blog. in juneau try to eat lunch at the red dog saloon (I think that's the name) it's not far from the dock - sawdust on the floor and a wonderful honky tonk piano man. enjoy the rest of your trip
