Tuesday the twenty ninth of January two thousand and thirteen will be a memorable day for me. We went to the first concentration camp, Dachau, built first thing in the morning. I didn't think I'd last going through it, but I did. Can't say much about it. It's a feeling that overcomes you. It's not something to talk about really.
We had a two hour drive after to get to Innsbruck. A time to segregate the morning and move onto the afternoon in Innsbruck and evening in Venice.
Innsbruck was yet another stunning city. Seems everywhere is stunning at this stage! But it had small local streets with a pedestrian focus in the city. All surrounded by snow capped mountains and some of the buildings were beautiful. One included a gold plated roof made from 2657 gold tiles. We went to the largest Swarovski store in the world and bought some gifts, then had a traditional local meal, schnitzel, and then it was time to get back on the coach to head to Venice :)
