Early morning rise again but had a longer sleep than yesterday which my body enjoyed. Had breakfast at the hotel then a beer stein demonstration next door. The steins were pretty but very expensive. Instead I bought this wine glass holder and a postcard, of course. There was the opportunity to take beautiful scenery photos, then it was on the bus to head to Munich.
We stopped in Stuttgart for lunch. The scenery along the drive was absolutely beautiful, particularly with snow covered hills.
Once in Munich we checked in at the hotel then went into the city centre for some free time to wonder around before a walking tour. From Marienplatz I went shopping and bought a bag and skirt then carried onto Frauenkirche. This church has a history linked to the Devil, but there was a mass on so I couldn't see the devils apparent footprint. I took some photos outside Peterskirche then it was time for the tour. We had a fun Australian guide. The two things I remember particularly were this area within the royal residences that had great acoustics and Theatinerkirche which inside is all white. The detail of the work and the pureness put me in awe of the beauty! One place I highly recommend going to. Sadly there was a mass here also so we were not allowed to take photos.
The tour ended at the hofbrahaus which was where we had a traditional Bavarian dinner. After, most of us went back to the hotel for a deserved early night.
Munich is another city I will return to. It was beautiful and has many churches and almost anywhere that you are, you can see a church steeple peeping over the top of buildings. It is cleaner than Berlin, and had a safe feel to it. The people were very friendly also.
