We started our day off with another ¥350 breakfast at the hostel whilst we planned out our attack for the day. Today we flew to Tokyo!! We were up before the sun at 4:30am where we had time to quickly get dressed before kissing the pusses goodbye and bustling into the taxi. Today we visited more wineries! Firstly we went to Wairau River who actually had some lovely wines. After than we went to a French place, No 1, that did bubbles as their specialty. They were probably the nicest bubbles I've had, but they were still bubbles. Then to Bouldevines where I bought my first wine! It was a Sav Blanc which I thought was delicious, obviously. Today we finally made it to our first winery (the whole purpose of this trip)! After our in motel breakfast we headed to the first vineyard, Clos Henri. It was run by a French family and we tried their range of Sav Blancs and Pinot Noirs. The next vineyard was Brancott where we got to sample a range of different wines.
