Well i made it across the country...... i'm in the Big Apple. So far i have done a day and a night tour of NYC - both very cool - i even went to Brooklyn on the night tour. I have just been to the Museum of Modern Art - and had lunch in Central Park.... Have shopped on the lower side and yesterday I went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This was great! going out on the boat and seeing the girl up close was cool. Then yesterday arvo i did a tour of the UN building - this was fantastic - very informative and moving - considering what has happened there and the decisions that have been made. Tomorrow i will go to the Natural History Museum and i will fit in the Guggenheim as well. Being a traveller - i am in crumpled clothes and carrying a backpack - but after this email i will head to Tiffany's to buy something - I just hope i get served!!!!! Tonight i have tickets to one of my favourite singers - Jesse Malin - looking forward to that. Oh and I am typing this at the HUGE apple store on one of the 100 or so mac's they have set up with free internet. Australia really has to catch up with the rest of the world in terms of the net and free WIFI - it is EVERYWHERE in America! anyhoo - i'm lookinf forward to london on Sunday-monday - people i know - and a nice place to stay that doesn't include a multitude of interesting (re: Freaks) from around the world. In this hostel there was an old guy who is into self help crap and his id tag on his luggage said he is a director of magic and miracles!!! only in America.
