hi all! so....sara and i went to lyon...as she probably explained earlier...and...i'd like to add, that i was in heels the entire time....so all that walking...yeah..i'm pretty much an olympic champion in heels now. ;) i'm finally almost over my sickness..i still have a cough and stuffy nose, but it's ALOT better. This week passed mostly without incendent. Kate and I managed to keep our adventures to a minimum and try and have a normal week. Miranda did take us to a Gypsy Cirque on Thursday which was......interesting. It was all acrobats and music and dancing. It was amazing what these people can do to thier bodies. So Journal #2...On Sunday, Miranda(our director here in Grenoble) took us to the Chateau Vizelle. It was where the French Revolution was planned and started. The very first battle took place around Grenoble. It's so cool to be surrounded by so much history. The Chateau is devoted mostly to the Revolution, with huge paintings and sculptures and murals. So the week was pretty much boring. Running here, running there, being cold, and whatnot. But this past weekend was a blast. So much fun, that I'm going to write 2 seperate journals, just for easier reading. So Kate was sick all weekend, so I made my own fun. On Saturday, I joined a group of fellow AIFSers and went snowboarding at 2Alpes. Cold, Steep, long and a blast. There were 8 of us, so we always skiied in pairs. hey, so...it snowed in grenoble today...alot! i have a feeling that the alps will be full of skiiers and "surfers" this weekend. this morning, madame woke me up extra early so i could eat before i went to class...6am extra early! and i don't have class till 10:30....and then she took an hour to try to find me some snow boots...but....let's just say....ugly, too big, or too bulky. :) then as i was walking out the door, in what we call work boots ...
