KATE'S INDIA TRIP
We left jalsaimer at eight in the morning for one of our epic coach journeys and cause we'd had a mega late night, gina and i found it hard to get up.But we'd managed to bag the front seats.
So we had a good view all the way./
We hard core drove it to Jodphur (yup where the name of the trousers comes from).
I was out of it for most of the journey as was so tired. But was very impressed when we arrived as it was another heritage hotel. We headed stright out to the fort where the marharaja of jodphur sdtil lives.
I was not very nwell though and had to contemplate if i could cope trapsing round the fort. I decided i had to after manning up to a 6 hour trip.
was very glad i did asw the views of the blue city were amazing (everyone paints thier houses blue to deter mosqitos, it also denotes status).
The fort was lovely and then it was in rickshaws that hanif had organised ( a lot of shouting involved).
we went to the local lassi shop and had a saffron lassi. we were the only white poeopel in there and everyone was staring!!!! i couldnt decide if i loved of hated the lassi it was very wierd!
An explore aroung jopdphuir and then dinner. Another busy day
