Kates travels
So yesterday we started at 8am and Ive been given a whole load of fish and inverts to learn, latin names, so i can do identification work. Im hoping to set up a project to do with colonisation of inverts which i can monitor regualrly. I went on a couple of snorkels to help with learning- it was pretty cold even in a 5mm wetsuit! We finish at 6pm, so i went for a swim with a couple of girls then helped make dinner, Pestihio a greek pie basically! Today is much the same, but later tonight Im going to go on a search for chameleons which will be cool. I saw one on my first day, crawling across the road, but only when the driver slammed on the breaks to avoid squishing it.

Annananana Sounds fab - didn't know there were chameleons in Greece! Can't believe its cold out there - were you snorkelling a long way away from the shore? Have fun becoming an expert on all life in Samos seas and make sure you take some pictures - we want to see our beautiful katarina. Lots of love Big Sid xxx
SH Cold!! I have just heard that Paxos is 40degrees. So the sea does not feel cold I think we will have to dash in and then stay there all day! TTFN SH xx
