Ok, so Nick killed you all with the last blog, what can i say, he talks a lot - just thank your lucky stars you´re not attached to him 24/7 (only 3 months left!). I´m kidding Nick, you are also a mild source of amusement. My point was that i will be brief(er). We have been moving all the time lately, chasing the sun, although i think it has now officially outrun us! disappointing, but if one will travel in winter! We were really lucky with the sun in Foz and Puerto Iguazu (Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the Iguazu waterfalls respectively), which was a blessing. the waterfalls are breathtaking, the photos don´t do them justice. I´m currently trying to upload more pics but on the worst internet connection ever so may abandon that plan. Tut, don´t these developing countries know about broadband?? Following yet another killer bus journey, we arrived at silly o´clock in Corrientes this morning, freezing! next time i will be taking my sleeping bag on the bus with me - thanks again for that mumsle, it´s fab and nick is dead jealous of how wee it is! This place is a bit drab, it´s cold and raining and very much off season, but we had a good wander. we are only here for one night and take an 11 hour bus to Rosario tomorrow - birthplace of Che Guevara - so that should be cool. then on to Buenos Aires, yay! really excited about that, we will be staying there for a good 10 days or so, so can settle down and do some all-important laundry as we´re honking it up a bit! we will also be hooking up with rich boden there so he can show us around before he heads to Brazil. Amusing moment of the day...Nicholas got caught by a security lady with a gun when he tried to pee behind the bus terminal this morning, much to my amusement, on a serious note it is an arrestable offence in some parts, doofus. Other highs include eating the best food ever in Brazil, homemade chicken stew and rice, my new favourite meal. so far food in Argie is crap! but hoping it will improve as we hit bigger cities. eaten far too much meat for my health, mum you´ll have your work cut out when i get home, but by that time i should be ready to go raw! what else...happy to be speaking spanish, although not always able to understand local dialects. does help though, and makes people a lot more helpful. So far we have been truly trekking the gringo trail and we are therefore looking forward to exploring BA for ourselves and hopefully getting to know it reasonably well. Nothing too exciting then! but thought i´d give you an update as communication (avec families particularly) has been tricky. We will have more to tell in BA i´m sure, and what follows that which is going to be awesome! I hope it wasn´t too painful! Judging from the length of email nick is currently tapping out next to me, i believe i have saved you! (shlee that was an email to you, hahaaaaaaaa!). Ciao ciao,
Kash and Nick
