Hei :)
Gottfriedt and I decided to watch a waterhole at sundown. There were tourists sitting there with us. Gottfriedt had brought Savannah dry for us, we filmed with a video camera and took a lot of pictures. In the beginning it was antelopes, jackals, giraffes, zebras and birds. But then a black rhino suddenly appeared. It was a male and he was walking towards the waterhole. My first rhino! He was really cool and had a characteristic walk. The black rhino is an endangered animal so it was really special for me to have the opportunity to see this wonderful animal. After a while a huge giant appeared in the horizon. A big, old male elephant came to visit us. He was really amazing and seemed very thirsty. I was so happy that I could see an elephant so close, but I was about to become even more happy. Gottfriedt saw another elephant in the horizon. He was walking towards the waterhole, and he had his tusk up in the air. Gottfriedt said it was a way of showing submission to the old elephant. When the younger male came to the waterhole, the elephants greeted each other. Then suddenly a third elephant appeared! The rhino was so small compared to the elephants! It was really cool to see them together. The sun was setting, and a beautiful African sky appeared. It was really a perfect ending to a day. After a while, Gottfriedt and I went home. There we barbecued outside under moonlight and stars, listening to the music from the Broadway show, "The Lion King". A perfect evening :)
