The gate at Etosha is open from sunrise till sunset, and it's not allowed to drive in the park when the sun is not there. The drive to Windhoek took some hours, and luckily we made it to Etosha just before sunset. The first animal that greeted me was a beautiful female giraffe. I really felt that it was Klippie saying "welcome back to Africa, Karianne". The giraffe was standing so close to the road and she looked strait at us. She was so beautiful!
In Etosha there is three resorts; Okaukuejo, Halali and Namotoni. Gottfriedt is working and living in Okaukuejo. He has a house in the staff village which he shares with another man. Luckily, that man is in Windhoek my whole stay, so we have the house for our self. It's a nice house with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a big kitchen. It also has a big garden and a veranda.
