Just got back from shopping - scored a sweet watch so I finally know what time it is around here! Clocks are oddly scarce... Also checked out a Chinese kfc and mcdonalds downtown. Now just gettin rested for our match tonight!

Just ran down to the store - man behind the counter was shirtless eating a boiled chicken foot :P but the snacks and drinks are so awesome! Pictured: Oreo wafers, coconut vanilla candy bar, and peach iced tea. Our team is obsessed with the bottled green tea here and we just discovered bottled honey milk tea too:) sooooo good and soooo cheap! The drinks are all like 3¥ aka $.50 and the snacks are all like 1¥ aka $.15.

Yesterday marked the start of our first tournament here in china. At opening ceremonies we boiled to death in our sweet, but hot, team jackets as we heard from those who set up the event as well as from local officials. The only address in English was from our coach John.
