After a loooooooong flight on American and Austrian Airlines, via Chicago and Brussels, we have landed in Vienna. Today, we were on our own once we arrived at our beautiful hotel. We decided that we were going to take a nap and then do a little exploring. After a much needed siesta and shower, some of us took a walk around the neighborhood and did a little exploring. We ended up having dinner with our tour guide, Robert, at a little cafe across the way from our hotel. The food was amazing, including the apple strudel with fresh whipped cream for dessert (thanks Vicki, great idea!). Tonight it's early to bed to start touring in earnest tomorrow. I've added a few pictures from our neighborhood, but look for more tomorrow as we'll be on a city tour of Vienna for the day! Good night all :)
