Ive just added new photos of Hamilton Island and hopefully this eve can upload Cairns photos from the reef. Also a new bit of blog writing :-) Less than 1 week to go! See you all very soon.

P.S Colette I hated scuba diving but have some photos a friend took a camera out there. From the jump I could see everything below! Like looking out of an airoplane!

You are either very brave doing the sky dive or very mad! It looks really coooooooooool though! What could you see from up there? Would you do it again? I hope you took pics of the scuba diving underwater. See ya soon xx

Just got your text honey...you will have an amzing few weeks. We loved Fraser Island and the Whitsundays...best two things we did whilst we were in Oz. If you have time pop up to Port Douglas about an hour North if Cairns (it is a really nice town and amazing beach - well it was 12 years ago!). See you in a few weeks. The next adventure starts on Sunday. A 3 day train journey to Melbourne, with another day stopping in Adelaide. Then on Thursday 26th a flight up to Hamilton Island on the Whitsundays!! Excited much! Then 2 weeks on the barrier reef and Cairns then home! Looking foward to this adventure! Also saving bits to come back for! See you all very soon! :-)

G'day my friend from down below! How are things? Just been looking at some of your photo's. I feel a scrapbook coming along when you come home! Looks like you are having a lovely time. Doesn't it seem strange that the plants grow up on those rocks? Wouldn't have thought they would have been the right conditions. Anyway, enough of rambling on about plants, how is your job going? Glad everyone got the postcards! I walked down the street in Sydney at 12 at night in pjs to post them! And Nan if you read this hope you got yours! :-) Christmas was not so diferent apart from we sat outside! It was quite warm. Not as warm as today though. 39 today and yesterday. I am actually dying!!

Nina- yep I made it to christmas! Reached my target. That is amazing news about Luca! I am expecting to see a little fish when I get back! Tell him I will be back just after the easter bunny comes!! :-) Then it will nearly be time to teach Roman won't it? May is it?

Hey Emma - I hope you had a good Christmas day (albeit very different I'm sure?) thank you for the post card, it was really lovely to hear from you and arrived just in time for Christmas. Mum was telling us that you've now got a job in a bar which will be keeping you busy (not to mention lining your pockets) - make sure you have fun on New Years eve - we will certainly raise a glass to you being the first family member to have spent the New Year on the other side of the world - with love as ever Julie and uncle Mikey xx

G'day Em - fantastic images, you've got a real bumper album going now that's for sure! Particularly liked the one where you are wearing a pink stripy top (not sure where it was taken?) but instantly thought you had been superimposed at the top of that tower - I quickly realised though that I was wrong when I saw the next image of you with the kuala bear!!! Looks like you are certainly having the time of your life, and glad to see those early days of Michael having taken you Abseiling when you were about 6 clearly paid off!
