Em - only just seen your blog and photo's. Well done you for getting a job in double quick time (although expected nothing less!) well done, good for you. One tip though, it's not cool in Oz to wear socks with your thongs, so no matter how cold it gets, don't give in on the sock thing!

Have you seen any Rugby yet? As Oz lost one of their games, they are probably keeping a low profile!

Got the job. Starts October at swan leisure centre. Can't remember what levels. 2 preschool i think then some school age. Was real easy to get! Gotta ring another swim school tommorow. Not sleeping in a tent but it feels like it! Today I am the only person walking round in a tshirt! Apparently its cold!!!! It did rain earlier tho.

Dont forget to take lots of pics and keep us updated of the many exciting things you do! What pool are you going to be teaching at? What levels - you could even be going to the olympics with some of your australian hopefuls next year if you dont come home:-)

Yer the maths looks pretty hard! Yer got my thongs on right now! Lol. I havent quite got the factor 40 as luckily i didnt get mums ginger skin but definatly factor 20 so I dont end up a pensioner!! Yer send Lulu over. She may not enjoy night time tho as its cold! I have to have 3 covers! Although not like our covers from home!!! Hope your all good. x x

Hey blonde one, I'm sure you needed a well earned drink or two after that horrendously long flight. Meant to ask you to pop our little LuLu in your flight bag! She's a real sun worshipper, and think she must have been either a cat or a lizard in a former life. All I know is that she's got the 'Essex Girl' thing going on (you know where they dye their centre parting brown!) Anyway! We may well pop her in a jiffy bag and UPS her to you in the next few days (once you've unpacked of course!) Hope you don't mind!?

Beer, the cornerstone of any nutritious diet! Don't forget 'eaten is cheaten' and beer is stuffed full of carbs with two slices of bread in every pint so who needs to eat!
