We had intended to go to Hamelin Bay today but we had a change of plan. We broke our internet router last night and we needed a new one, however, the nearest Telstra shop was in Busselton about 90 kilometres away. We decided to go there today and then drive back to Hamelin Bay and work our way up the coast as planned. We awoke to some blue sky but with black cloud threatening. After brekky we drove down to the lighthouse at Cape Leeuwin which was only a few kilometres away. This is the point where the Southern Ocean meets and crashes into the Indian Ocean. When I was here last year it was a pretty dramatic place to be. We'd had a lovely quiet night to the sound of the breaking surf. After brekky we went for a walk along the beach. A very short path from the caravan park took us straight out onto the beach and the beautiful Flinders Bay with it's turquoise waters.
