So.Many.Stairs!
Today we left Margaret River for Augusta, briefly, where we climbed the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Leeuwin is apparently a dutch word and pronounced something like laywen..
Jo and I attempted it and somehow sounded more like posh British women, so with that we became Cecilia and Margarite..
From there we drove to Pemberton, which is a really creepy, old looking town.. And there is nothing there, except of course the Gloucester tree. Cecilia made it an admirable 10 rungs before sooking out, leaving me to climb it alone.. I made it all the way to the top, which looks to be a really nice spot for a bit of a picnic.. Great views of, well, of other trees really..
From there we drove a while out to Walpole, another small town with not much to do, except laundry, and of course the local pub. Cecilia beat me in two games of pool (just barely, I held my own) and we dominated the jukebox.. Sad to say we are back at the lodge though, there is just no room in our small bellies for any more booze tonight.
Off to Albany tomorrow, where the nightlife should hopefully get a little more exciting, and Cecilia might loosen up a bit. I will not let her drive to the pub this time..
Love, Luck, and Wishes to QLD!

P.s
Should we not make it home this week, it will most definitely have been Darwyn the Dips***'s fault.. Darwyn is our less than handy navman who seems to have some sort of vendetta against us, constantly trying to force us off road into scary bush, or off a bridge.. Darwyn must die!!
