Today was the wine tour, my favourite part of this whole trip, so far. Except it is unbelievably tiring, there's a lot of down time between tastings to make you just tired enough to doubt your ability to have any more wine... And then they present to you the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. And all the excitement and hope returns to your eyes as you walk through those giant doors and you're greeted with a glorious air-conditioned warehouse filled with chocolate, and chocolate products, from wall to wall and ceiling to floor..
But don't forget the cheese, oh the cheese factory. So tasty and strong, so filling and addictive, just calling to you.
"eat me! Put me on a cracker, you know you want to, go on.. Eat me"
We visited 3 wineries, the first being our favourite.. Adinfern. The taster lady is so adorable, you just want to place her on a shelf in the chocolate factory amongst all the other beautiful things..
It was a wonderful day, but I sat in a puddle.. And that was the moment I knew I wanted to go home. It was such a sunny day and I found the only puddle.. Right there in my perfect photo pose, and the polaroid camera ran out of film, and I was ass deep in a puddle.
Worth it though, we have some nice shots of the day, mostly holding wine glasses or plastic cows.
We never made it onto the karaoke stage last night, I'm far too scared, although my amazing rendition of bohemian rhapsody in the caves earlier would tell you otherwise.. Children weeped with joy.. Or maybe it was fear.
We're back at the tavern tonight ready for a big, big night.. And a long walk back to the lodge. We fear our livers may be about ready to jump ship by the end of this week, granted out cash holds out until then.
P.s. Jo days hi, and she never got to drunk text today (unlike myself.. Hehehe) but she wants to tell Jason "I love you baby, forever and always"
Xx (vomit) :p
