Well this entry is a little bit more interesting, on Tuesday I managed to get a game of football with the locals on tarmac and using a micro-sized ball so we wouldn't smash any windows! The darned thing was minute, it almost felt like playing with a tennis ball. Anyway, we teamed up and actually, despite breathing like a train I managed to keep up with the local boys until we had an argument kick off and one player started to take his frustration out on another, not even sure why as yet. Anyway, no goals but I was on the winning team. Also a couple of days before managed to go go-karting and clocked up the fastest time around the track once I managed to pass a friends' boyfriend who was holding me up. Not sure if I put him into the wall but he was getting blue flagged so my competative streak coming out there again.

This morning I also managed to survive a gas explosion, the Gasboard had refused to turn on the gas, the person who came to repair it said there was nothing wrong so this morning, turn on the gas to make a coffee (oh, they don't have kettles here) and 'BANG' the electric oven nearly came out. I hasten to add the gas went off at the mains very quickly!

Aside from nearly meeting my maker, the morning has passed in another email frenzy, I think I am getting reasonably reliable email again, although lost the telephone line for the whole day yesterday. Now back to study, hopefully next week I can get out and about a bit more!
