Today was my last day in Tallinn before heading back to Latvia and on to Lithuania.
My CS Hosts Henry & Lotte were off to pick up their new kitten this morning so I joined them as I absolutely love kittens. We had some time to spare so they drove me around the Russian and Soviet sides of the city - very similar to Latvia. We were picking the kitten up from a small farming area outside of Tallinn so we also got to drive along nice country roads and see a huge flock of Geese about to begin their migration.
The kitten was adorable but very shy!
It was time to say goodbye to Henry & Lotte - two truly unique and amazing people I was blessed to have met on my journey. I guess it's true what they say about Estonia people: they seem distant and cold at first but when they get to know you - you will have a friend for life.
On the bus by 1pm and 9 hours to Vilnius!
Arrived in Vilnius at about 10:30 and too many hours cramped on bus. Unfortunately I had put the wrong bus station in my maps so I had a good hours walk to my hosts place in the cold - yes I probably could have caught a bus but I much prefer to walk whilst I can.
After walking through some shady areas I made it to my CS hosts place And wow both of them are wonderful. Juozas had to go to bed but I sat up chatting with Irena until early hours.
