Today I had a much needed sleep-in until about 8:30am. I had absolutely nothing to do today so most of the morning I sat around trying to get connection on the very bad wifi service they have at next doors hostel. Around midday myself and Luis went to buy some things to make dinner but unfortunately he had to go off and organise some tours so I headed back to the house where Pablo was now taking over today's lunch cooking duties. Lunch took over 3 hours and by the time it was finished myself, Melissa, Luigi and Luis were starving and would have eaten anything. Pablo cooked up an Asian type dish with vegetables, lentils, soy sause, mussels and spaghetti - kindly leaving the spaghetti out of mine. By the time lunch was finished it was late in the afternoon so myself, Pablo and Luigi decided to head into town and go to a local bar for a drink. The town is buzzing with people due to this weekends upcoming Anniversary Celebrations which unfortunately I will miss as I will be on the bus tomorrow headed for Santiago. After all the tours and excitement in my travels over the last month; being in San Pedro Atacama and having nothing to do is like hitting a brick wall. The rest of the evening we sat around, tried to get Internet connection and ate some very overpriced and bad fruits - making me realize how wonderful Bolivia really was.
