The last message that shows up on my list of messages is the one from Adam saying was sorry but it could have been worse. Surely someone has said something since then!...I know, don't call you Shirley! My big news bullitons are: I'm getting a sweet little open flame propane stove with an automatic thermastat in my studio. #2: Little Guy waited until Ken was asleep and climbed up and shat upon his stomach! Very bad Karma; not to mention the hostility this engendered in Ken. We can't think of any message he was trying to deliver. He is banished except that after ken goes to his room, if its cold outside I bring him into my room, then have to get up and let him out! Oh, yeah, I was in a very nice three day show at the cllubhouse, with champagn reception, and every one made a fuss over me.(I just hate that.)

Judy, you are just kidding about getting married, right? You said that to get my atttention, didn't you? How can you get married, when I left, you were not even dating anyone?
We will be home on the 15th and Paul wants us to go back to work on the 17th. I don't even know where we will live.
Back to the marriage thing. Where, who and why didn't I get to help pick out the dress and plan the wedding?
Tell Annie we will get her as soon as we know where our hme will be.

I have been busy having the flu. There are no flu shots available in county, so expect to be similarly occupied this winter. However, Cheryl got one throu;gh Kaiser; in Stockton. I am finally showing paintings again. I'm in a group show... oen portrait of Laura which I reworked. She now has a very mysterious expression but somewhat a amused. I like it alot. The other is a still life that has been totally distroyed...lemons everywhere, candle upside down in the goldfish bowl, flowers shreadded. In the middle of it all is a big fat cat half asleep. (well, I told you I've had to reinvent myself, and my style of painting just changed!
I picked up your wine. The Guy in charge said I could drink it if I chose to and he would help me. Agrees that four months in Europe is just decadent, especially since itsgetting so cold and rainy here, and I've been sick!

Buenas Dias,
Well, it happened........ Super travelers got ROBBED. We had only been in Barcelona for a few minutes when a kid on a scooter drove up alongside of us and pointed to our back tire which was very flat. Of course we puled over and Tony went to look for a phone. While I was waiting and trying to find the manual for the car, the kid pulled up on my side of the car and wanted to have me get out and open the trunk, But I was too smart for that!! I wasn´t too smart to not be robbed by the first kid´s companion who opened the driver ´s door and took Tony´s wallet. What really hurt is that we had arrived in Barcelona early in the day so we could get a hotel and I was deliriously happy about a long soak in a tub and a chance to do hair and toes and nails and stuff that you can´t do while camping. Instead, we spent four hours in the rain getting the car towed and the new tire.
The scam goes like this. The kid pulls up close on the side of the car at a light and drives a knife into the tire and then lets you know your tire is flat and then creates a diversion while the other kids stakes your Stuff!!!
We only lost some money and Tony´s credit cards. No big deal, but a good lesson was learned. In spite of the fact that everyone we have talked to, including Spaniards, have been robbed at least once, it makes you feel really stupid for falling for the scam. Today we are cruising the streets and I just want one of then to try it again, I´m going to open the car door on the scooter and knock the little b****** into next week.
And a good time was had by all on Day of the Dead, here in Spain, that´s Halloween in the USA.
Tomorrow we will leave for Calais and drop off the car and go on to Athens and spen some time on some Greek Islands, then to Egypt and then homey homey.

Long time no talk! I can't wait to hear all about your'e adventures. laura and I went to a holloween Party with Adam and his soon to be bride, Laura was little red ridding hood and I was the big bad wolf. We had a great time dancing and drinking. There was one thing missing though ( nobody was dirty dancing!) We miss you guys. Stay safe and we can't wait to see you.
