Hi you guys,
So sorry to hear about your Grandmother you guys. Here's a big hugmmmmmmmsqueezekiss for you from us.
Thanks for your concern about Michael. I didn't realize you didn't know that he has had a stroke, more likely a series of them in 2001 and 2002. Presently he is making a turn around with Dr. Cram's help. Strokes are a funny thing and difficult to understand. He is not presently in any kind of danger. Actually he is much safer now that I know he is not being a butt hole on purpose. When you visit with him next you will see the improvement and by that know what happened to him. Well, love ya lots. Guess we will see you soon. We are going to spend Thanksgiving with Laura and Jeff. Love us'ns

Yippie, I found a keyboard that has all the letters in the right place and the spacebar works.
Today we went up the mountain to a little town called Sintra and we stopped and took prictures of the western most point on the European continent. Portugal is so pretty and the peoplçe are kind and friendly. Tomorrow will we go into Lisbon. I would like to come back here and spend a week in the winter.
Liege, I should have had you give me some lesson in the language before I got here.
It is getting cooler here and we have decided to go south. We will travel along the Algarve down to Gibraltar.
We had a good chat with Joyce last night. It was night for us, but morning for her.
The last two nights we have had company for dinner. A fellow from England is camped near us and he likes to have a good home cooked meal, I should say campsite cooked.
Hope to get some more pictures posted soon.
Keep those cards and letters coming in.

Sharon & Tony sorry to hear about Grandma. Know we are thinking of you and miss you lots! Can't wait to hear the next set of stories from your adventures!! It's great to hear how everyone is doing as well. The "kids" say hello!
Michael And Nancy
Hello,
Thought we would chime in to say hello. Things are busy for us, but we sure aren't getting anywhere fast. I am making grape juice this am and thinking hard about bugging Laura. She said she would help if I wanted. I want but I know she is working again and probably needs her weekend. Maybe she wouldn't mind babysitting M for me. He is working hard to be productive and efficient by bossing me around and thinking up new ways to make grape juice. Ever since his bio feedback Doc has been helping him heal from his stroke, he has been at it 150% and then testing himself by thinking. Arghhh! I love this man, but he is SO much work.
Got the Billys all fixed up so they can snuggle with the girls without "consequence" . They are still walking a little slow. The vet came here, what a great gal. Had a good visit while getting the chore done. Buddy was a crack up. When we doped up the little brown guy, Buddy laid down on top of him to protect him, had to yell at him. He never left his side untill he woke up. Ignored the other 3. Sweet and weird dog. Vet confirmed the other nanny is preggers and due in about 30 days. I am going to get some pygmy midwife training next week or so. so I can at least give these a chance a life.
Went home to Modoc to a family get together. Had a great time. Went on to the RunningY resort for a couple of days. Really enjoyed it. Indoor pool and spa. Cousin has all the toys to play with, speed boat, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, scuba training pool in the back yard...etc, so will go back this winter. Michael will do the spa and I will do snow with my cousin. Anybody know a good woman age 30 to 50 who likes cowboys, mechanics, sports, fast cars, and off color jokes? Cousin is 6 years past divorce and shopping. He is a pain in the ass but sweet, has a horse I would push him down the stairs for.
Started training for homeopathic practices to help Michael and maybe build an income and job here at home with. Really enjoying it. Whew! Feel like I have been shot out of a cannon. There is not a cure but there is healing. So much is confirmed, so much to learn! It is a year's course. This gal reminds me of the picture Joyce keeps in her studio of the woman feeding a child spagetti from a frying pan. It's her twin for sure.
Jerry went home to be with his family in Phoenix. They are putting it together to move up this way. They are still married as of this morning. He is a bunch of work to be around. Didn't get much done while he was here. The time spent was so worth it tho, for all three of us. Lots of healing. He was ready to hear the facts of life, and taught us a few things too.
Well, I am rattling on trying to think of something interesting to say. Sure enjoy being able to touch base with you on your travels. Miss you guys.
We will see you soon, Be well.

Okay, now I know what I did wrong. I'm fine. Laura went back to work. I'm woring to get my inventory built up for the holidays. Taking Spanish lessons. Became friends with Julie Drummond. I told you all this, but I don't see it on the message board.
Sharon
Hey Sisty. The only prison I have been in is the one on the behind the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. I sure wouldnt zqnt to hqve to stay there. Glad to heqr you are chumming it up with Julie. Isnt she crazy? Im looking forward to Christmas. I have lots of ideas.
Venice was great. We didnt get to the island where they mqke the glass. I thought better of it when I considered how much stuff I alreqdy have to ship home.
We drove into France and down the coast to the riviera. That was a disapointment. It was so full of smog and smoke it mqde my contacts disolve. We spent one night and moved on. We drove over the foothills of the Alps and through the most charming and interesting little towns and then throught the Gorges of Verdon. Wow! What a spectacular place. The pictures should be good. Now we are in Avigon and tomorrow we will go to Arle. THis is the part I have been waiting for. I hope to be visited by the ghost of Vincent.
Hey Joyce, there was a ghost in the bathroom zith me in Rome.
Next we will go into Spain and then Portugal.
Stay tuned for more adventures.
Joyce
I was glad to hear from you. I knew you probably werent in a Turkish prison, but nice to hear how much fun you're having. I am taking a class in conversational Spanish. Guess who has asked if she can come over and study with me (she sits next to me in class.)?? Julie Drummond. She's a hoot. She's taking the class because she has just bought two houses in Mexico near Guadalajara. But I llike her anyway. I am trying to build up my inventory for the holidays. I joined the art league here to pick up some contacts. They have open studios around November. dMy Spanish instructor, who is on staff at Sierra College, is also a member of this leaque. I found out because she is one of the women in the league who posed naked for a calender which is for sale as a fund raiser. Nuts!! Shoulda joined sooner. Chao, ninos, hasta luago.

Hello everyone. It has taken us a while to find an internet side that wasnt really expensive.
Im glad to hear that MV is missing us and to know that Max is staying in touch.
Joyce, I cant picture where Lauras property is located. It sounds nice.
Capri was beautiful. It was a trip we had not planned, but the rain made us make some adjustments. It rained for three days off and on. Napoli is a kick. I have never seen such awful drivers. I was sure we would be killed and dragged under a bus or a scooter for days before anyone noticed us.
We spent a day in Pompi. What an amazing place. The next day we climbed to the top of Vasuvius. The volcano still smokes and they know that its not a question of if it will erupt again, but when. Sorta like living in SF.
We drove back to Roma and were so glad that we did. We really liked it. Whats not to like about a place that has everything you can imagine and a lot of stuff that makes your mind boggle.
We left Rome and drove to Siena yesterday. Today we are having a look around the city named after a color.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LAURA AND JUDY.
Joyce, did anyone let you know that Judys sister died
Please forgive some of the punuation. The key boards are different in Europe and I give up after while trying to find commas and question marks.

i reawlly have very little to say, but i want to keep in practice so that i wont forget. i did go with laura and nance to find the boundries of lauras property. we treked through the dense brush, found the markers, and came out with lichen-laded twigs and branches in our hair. sadie went with us , and her butt was dragging, too, and she has four-wheel drive and kept getting in the water to cool off. then we had cold beer and lunch at the tack room, which doesnt care how you look! i love the travellog, but sorry to say i am still abit green about it. i have signed up for a spanissh class, which is supposed to start next wednesday if there are enough people. love love chao
