Airlie beach is amazing, fast becoming a firm favourite. Arrived here 5 days ago, and have been impressed ever since. We are staying at a place called summit apartments, which is at the top if a very nasty hill... People have been so friendly and although wet season we have had the most amazing weather. We have been out to Bowen, horseshoe bay, dingo beach, cedar creek falls, shute harbour, hook island and whitehaven beach, and we have been blown away by the sheer beauty of the area. We are definitely returning on our trip around Australia and want to take a scenic flight over the Whitsunday islands. Tomorrow off to daydream and long islands, awesome!!!
