Hi all, Made it to Byron Bay in one piece after my longest bus jouney yet (thank god I had lots of preparation in NZ)  The bus left Sydney at 9pm and arrived into BB at 9.30am this morning.  Slept a little bit on the bus but it's not very comfy.  Had my goodie bag with my sarnies, tim tams and bananas so I was all set.  Kade wasn't very happy to see me go and said he was very cross with me! Well g'day lovely people! Sydney is a fantastic place to be.  Arrived on Friday around 4pm.  I was quite glad to leave that crazy hostel in Christchurch.  It turns out it was a hostel for German lesbians - ah well, you live and learn.  At least I got to do my washing for free.  Also found a lovely restaurant nearby call The Bicycle Thief and enjoyed a scrummy dinner of fish cakes, followed by pasta and washed down with a cheeky bellini!  Hi all, Didn't make it for drinks - I fell alseep - such a party animal!  Had to be up at 6am for my next bus trip to Lake Tekapo.  Managed to get up on time (thanks to Joanne Seeley putting The Prodigy on my mobile - if anything is going to get me up it's hearing I'm a fire starter, twisted fire starter!)
