Hey everyone!! It seems facebook is much more interesting than writing about myself here, haha, but I wanted to let you know what I have been up to lately! On tuesday, Lewena and I drove to Leitrim to visit her family. It was a pretty drive through the country to get to Ballinamore, although we were winding through very small back roads at high speeds!! Once we got to her Granny Sammon's house, we then started making the rounds of visits to Lewena's aunts and uncles!! It was incredible how dark it can get out in the country with no street lights! The next day we headed to Galway to visit Ciana. We stopped in a little town called Carrick to have lunch with Lewena's aunt Ann. It was a horrrrrrbily rainy and windy day. When we got there, our break light went on and we took the car to a garage where they suggested we got new brake pads! So after an hour and a half of waiting for the car to be fixed in Ann's office building (we were sitting with our feet up on her heaters to dry off!) , we were on our way again!

We got to Galway three hours later and found Ciana's house by the NUIG Campus. I met all of her housemates and friends who were all very nice! We went out with all of her friends and had a good night! On thursday, we visited Lewena's Granny Maher in Salthill, Galway. It was strange going back to her house because it was so long ago we stayed there for a few nights. (I was last there in 2001 maybe?) For how bad my memory is, I did remember quite a bit about that house!

We made it back to Dublin safely (and exhausted) on thrusday night. Since then, we have been hanging out with Lewenas friends and family just having a good time! Now its Sunday, and I just re-packed my suitcase in preparation to leave early tuesday morning! Its still pretty heavy, but I can't seem to cut down on my clothes or shoes!! :( But my Irish family seems to think I can get away with an extra carry on (seeing as I am only allowed one!) So, I am going to chance it and pack a little duffle to carry on and hope they don't mind!! hehe ;)(im sure you won't agree with this m&d!!)
