Hei og hilsen fra Norge.
As i said previously so i´m a lazy ass when it comes to blogging. Now i´m sitting at the Trondheim airport and finally have some time to blog. :)
So, what has happened under my holiday? Well, 1st of all, i´m pretty relaxed, have enjoyed so far, and there is still much to come.
I started my journey by flying to Gothenburg, Sweden to selebrate the midsummer feast. It was, as allways a pleasure to meet people over there and eat, drink, play, etc. with them. 3 days went on wings and sunday came pretty fast.
Then on sunday june 27th it was time to continue my journey. In the morning Simon and Alex took me to the railway station in Stenungsund, where i was to take the train to Gothenburg and from there the airport bus to Landvetter airport. AirBaltic flight to Riga, Latvia took roughly 1h 40min and then there was a 6h layover between my flights, so i had chance to meet my latvian friends for a while. My dear friend Janis and his girlfriend came to the airport to pick me up, and we went then to Jūrmala, that is a beach resort just outside Rīga, the capital of Latvia.
We went then to Janis parents house, that was like a mansion :) There i had the chance to meet Janis brother and his girlfriend and we ate some wegetable soup, which was really good, and fresh strawberries for dessert. After, we took the car and went for coffee on a highway side café and took some drinks. A small round at Rīga old town and back to the airport. The Airbaltic flight to Tromsø.
I´ve fallen deeply in love with Norway. It´s just so empressive with all the mountains, fjords, people and scenery. BUT, my norwegian travel budget has come to red, but who the h*ll cares...it´s holiday.
Tromsø:
When the plane was landing to Tromsø airport, i came pretty clear that it was quite cold over there, when you look through the window. When we left Rīga the sun was shining it was allmost +30´c and when we landed to Tromsø it wasraining and +7´c so... It was one beautiful landing. We could see the snowy mountain tops and beautiful green valleys. the time in Tromsø went fast by mountain trekking, shopping, fotographing and hanging in the cafés. It is one awesome town with dramatical weather changes. One moment sunny and warm, and 10 mins and it was raining and cold.
Bodø:
This fishermens town in the coast, shrimp was present, and it was sold allmost everywhere. The town lies in beatiful surrounding with sea, mountains and Lofoten islands. It was a real good weather most of the time, with some sun and quite warm, some rain showers came though.
Trondheim:
Trondheim is a place to visit if you like big-small city life. It has the best developed café scene in Norway and shopping, number of sights, "bohemian lifestyle" parts of the city are present. Bakklandet is a great example of that. Cafe´s and small shops in a wooden houses environment. Great place to spend you afternoon tea/coffee brake.
In Trondheim i had the chance to meet my friends and just hang out with them. Love them alot! Great.
Now i have to rust to my flight to Stavanger...more to come.
